Get Sketchy Challenge #1


I don't know what's gotten into me, but I've been making some elaborate and embellished cards lately. But I'll always love CAS, too!

I discovered a new challenge blog. They have prizes! Who doesn't love that!?! I found the link in Stampin' Annie's gallery.

Get Sketchy

Stamps: Pickin' Apples (Sugar Nellie)
Paper: real red, white, pumpkin pie, ballet blue, barely banana, apricot appeal (from scraps... I think it has SU Paisley stamped on it.) and CM patterned paper
Ink: black, SU markers: pumpkin & burgundy, Copic markers: R27 Cadium red, B32 pale blue, B23 Phthalo blue, G24 Willow, Y38 honey, Y21 buttercup yellow, E37 sepia, E35 chamois, (Shading: YG11migonette, C0 cool gray)
Accessories: buttons & thread, SU 5 petal punch, EK Success small flower punch, ribbon, white gel pen, paper piercer & mat stack template
Techniques: faux stitching, waves cut freehand

This card measures just under 5x5.

    This is adorable -- and a riot of color! I have enjoyed visiting your blog and seeing lots of great work. COngratulations on the weight loss -- I've lost a lot of weight since I retired -- guess no more on the run eating helps. I had my hubby take one of those classic pictures where you hold out the waistband of those now too large pants -- it feels good huh?
