Gina K Designs - Preview Day #4

I am really excited to be part of Gina K's preview tonight as one of her Center Stage Spotlight team members! I had been hoping to one day. And it was great timing! Once life started settling in with the new job, I was able to stamp more. Then life started getting really exciting! First a message from Theresa (Gina K. Artist/Illustrator) and then one from Gina herself. My head has been spinning with excitement. LOL! That's all because Gina K. Designs is a fabulous company! I remember when Gina started her company. I think my first set was Love You to Pieces (Stamps for a Cause... Autism Speaks). I now own many Gina K. stamps! And Gina herself is super sweet and very generous. But you probably already knew that! :)

The set I am previewing tonight is Heartily Yours illustrated by Nina Brackett. I have many of Nina's sets. She is fabulous! There are many things to love about this set, one of them is the mix of bold stamps and lined stamps for coloring. I can imagine this sentiment being used on both CAS and embellished cards and getting beautiful results.

After using a cutting system and scallop punch, I finished the focal point with dots made with a marker, rhinestone stickers, and taffeta ribbon.

This beautiful image is one of the lined images. It was so much fun to color! I love all the hearts! This card uses Gina's new color, innocent pink. I sponged the edges with a cameo coral ink. The main image is sponged and remounted on white cardstock. I finished the card with a MS lace edge punch, taffeta ribbon and one of Gina's fabulous buttons.
