More Strawberries!

Does anyone remember the strawberry shortcake doll? Or does that show my age?

I used Mojo93 for my sketch. You can find a link to all the Mojo challenges under Monday Challenges on the left side of the blog.

Here's my 2nd SCS inspiration #188 card. This one was inspired by this la-dee-dots dress.

Stamps: Little Lovin's Shy Girl (Stamp Oasis), Tart & Tangy (Stampin' Up)
Paper: real red, real red DSP, white, black
Ink: black, real red, garden green
Accessories: Copic markers, brads, taffeta ribbon, circle punches, SU real red & garden green markers

The Frog Prince

Inspiration Challenge #188 - Chasing Fireflies
I chose this adorable pillow as my inspiration. I especially loved the hills and went with the fairytale theme, too.

Stamps: mushroom & frog (High Hopes), xoxo ($1 stamp)
Paper: white, green galore, CM green swirl DP, SU apricot appeal & so saffron DSP
Ink: black, bashful blue, certainly celery
Accessories: Copic markers, button brads, circle punches, ribbon, sponge, handmade cloud template
Techniques: sponging, masking
Other: I cut the hills freehand.

Whew! I've gotten so used to making CAS cards that this took me forevahhhh! And I'm pretty happy with myself. I don't often come up with my own unique layouts. As Faith (markie's mom) says.... What do you think?

I like you berry much!

I'm such a goofball! This was supposed to be for the limited supply challenge on SCS, today. I was so focused on how I was going to repeat 3 cropped images that I forgot the embellishment rule.

Stamps: Tart & Tangy, Aida Cloth (Stampin' Up!), sentiment (A Muse??)
Paper: WW, black, real red
Ink: real red, garden green, basic black
Accessories: SU markers, paper piercer & mat stack, Offray ribbon, circle punches

Blast from the Past

I made a card with strawberries today which I will post soon. I decided to go and look in my photo files to see if I had any other cards with strawberries. And I did! I love strawberries. Yummy!

Both cards measure 4.25 square. I use 4.5 A Muse envelopes. I used one of Beate's sketches... #4! Wow! That was awhile ago.

Thank you berry much!

Ink: black, garden green, rich razzleberry
Accessories: brads, taffeta ribbon, Scor-Pal dimensionals, pencil eraser

And lucky me... I won a stamp for guessing what Renee and her family did on vacation for the very first time. Jet Ski! Sounds like fun! I haven't done that, yet. (Of course, I would need to be brave enough to get in a suit first.!)The stamp I won is called Linden Branch. Isn't it great?!?

This 2nd card was made for the "no squares" challenge.

Stamps: Mix Up of Cuteness - Unity
Paper: white, creamy caramel, pretty in pink
Ink: black, brown

I love my new Martha Stewart punch!

My DH is so sweet! I've been developing a new routine since dealing with his new physical disability that finally has a name and prognosis. He thought I deserved something new and he bought me this new Martha Stewart ice cream punch. Isn't this the cutest punch you've ever seen?! I love it!

Stamps: Family Phrases (Stampin' Up)
Paper: white, bashful blue, DSP - bashful blue, apricot appeal, creamy caramel, & close to cocoa
Ink: brown
Accessories: ribbon, Top Note die cut (SU; Wish RAK), MS ice cream punch, brads, dimensionals

The color challenge included tempting turquoise, apricot appeal, creamy caramel, & baja breeze. We could use just 3 colors and use bashful blue instead of baja breeze. (I also slipped in some close to cocoa which was on the reverse side of the creamy caramel. What's ice cream if you can't enjoy some chocolate?!)

Turtle and Her Balloon

And, I couldn't help it. I have a ton of birthday images and I had to make one more CAS birthday challenge card. :)

Stamps: Turtle's Balloon (Inky Antics / Wish RAK), sentiment unknown
Paper:white, summer sun, certainly celery DSP
Ink: black, pumpkin pie
Accessories: ribbon, Copic markers, dimensionals

Happy Bird-day!

Another CAS birthday card. And it's SUO! That doesn't happen often.

Paper: white, bashful blue, real red DSP, pumpkin pie
Ink: black, pumpkin pie, ballet blue
Accessories: ribbon, scallop edge punch, Copic & SU markers, CM custom cutting system, Top Note die (Wish RAK), dimensionals

I'm Lovin' the New Bermuda Bay!

(Editing to answer a question.... The pink polka-dotted ribbon is made by Offray.)

My demo gave me samples of the new In-Colors CS and ribbon. I thought I could live without the ribbon for now. After all, I haven't used the In-Color ribbons much in the past. Well, I think this year is going to be different! I have melon mambo on the way, but some of the others NEED to be on my next order!

Today's CAS challenge is a theme: Birthday cards in honor of my son's birthday.

Stamps: Candles (DRS Designs), sentiment (unknown)
Paper: white, regal rose, bermuda bay
Ink: black, regal rose
Accessories: Copic markers, SU regal rose, ribbon, circle punches, dimensionals

Hey, Hey, It's Your Birthday!

My DS is turning 14 today. How did I get that old to make that possible?

He is my miracle baby. A true gift from God. He was born 16 weeks prematurely and weighed only 1 pound and 4 ounces!

DS often goes to the local stamp store with me. He thought I should have this stamp. Well, it was too much for one stamp, but I did receive it from some wonderful ladies on Wish RAK.

Stamps: Surprise Party (House Mouse), It's Your Birthday (Stampin' Up)
Paper: white, real red, pacific point
Ink: black
Accessories: Copic markers, paper piercers, dimensionals
