Question: Did you stack the cups or is the image already made with the 4 cups together?
Actually, I'm not sure. A stamping friend sent this stamped image to me in a card. For some reason, I assumed it was a single stamp of 4 cups. Now, I'm not sure. Good question!

I don't like coffee, but I love tea! I received from a stamping friend quite some time ago.

*I used kraft, black & white, but I changed the green to a light blue/turquoise color.
*I altered the layout a bit.
*I used the same image.
*I used dp instead of crimping regular cs.

"First let me tell you what the challenge is...you must use a Christmas image and only one piece of DP and NO diecutting machines, cricuts etc....I know don't hurt me please! anything else goes, any embelishments! Please be sure to limit your layers!

Okay the next step to this challenge is that you have to send htis card out to someone as a random RAK. It can be a person in a nursing home, a worthy cause or a little boy named Noah Biorkman...Noah is 5 yo. and he has been battling cancer since he was 3. The doctors told him he only has about 2 weeksl to live at MAX! The family is celebrating Christmas early this year and his one request was to recieve A LOT of christmas cards...so if you could please help me out and make Noah smile it would be greatly appreciated!"

SCS Sketch Sketch Challenge #253

Please excuse the typos... I was half asleep when uploading it on SCS last night, but I hadn't made a sketch challenge in weeks. (I fixed them the next day. Whoa! The typos were so bad I had a hard time reading it! LOL!)

I cut the horse shoe from wild west with a large oval, designer label, and a circle punch. The BG stamping was done with accessories stamps from the TAC Wild West set.

Yesterday's SCS Sketch Challenge: 1st Version

This poor, poor card! I just wasn't happy with it. I posted it anyway saying that I was doing it over. I'm honored that so many people liked it... so much so that they wanted me to leave it alone! Here are some of the comments it received on SCS:

Sketch Challenge #242 - The New Card

This is my make-over card. What I really didn't like about the first card:

* too much apricot & not enough green to bring the eye to the main image.
* too much glitter detracting the eye from the main image.
* the choice of punches over-whelmed the image.

I think there was a pattern! I love this new image from TAC. Actually, it's not new. It was a special blast from the past promotion. And since I really wanted this small adorable image to be the center of attention, I needed to make some changes. Here are some of the comments this one received on SCS:

Jen, this is SOOOO beautiful!! I agree with you, the adorable image is the main focus on this redone version!! CAS Challenge #14 - Let's Rock & Roll!

I had a hard time Sunday evening (been sick for a few days) and finally stopped and decided on this card for this week's sample. I hope it's CAS enough!

Stamps: Seasonal Cuties, Treasure Seeker - The Angel Comapny
Paper: white, bashful blue, SAB designer paper (all SU)
Ink: bashful blue, so saffron, apricot appeal
Accessories: ribbon, homemade cloud template made with scallop scissors
Techniques: Rock & Roll, sponging

This card is 4.25 square. I use 4.5 A Muse envelopes.

Although my Mother's Day was quite uneventful due to being sick, my DS insisted that I have breakfast in bed. He's so cute! There's no greater joy than being a Mom! And our family is all excited. My sister just received wonderful news on her Mother's Day! They are adopting a baby girl that will arrive in about a month! My sis and BIL have been wanting another baby since their first child was born 7 years ago. After losing two precious babies and a few miscarriages, they decided on adoption. I am so happy for them! I had no idea that this was possibly happening when I made the "Think Pink" card I posted last week (the post below). Now I have a person to send the card to!
