Sending you sunshine and laughter!
It's Friday! I'm not sure if I got myself on the list in time, but I wanted to make a card, something I haven't done all week! I've been stamp deprived. LOL!
I'm not sure how many cards I've made with the December KOM. I just love it! I think I'll love January's just as month... and their being shipped today!!!
Today is another work day for me, but I'll be back to hop through blogs :)
I used a SU cameo coral marker, Copic markers and Palette burnt umber. I finshed it with so saffron ribbon, brads and the flowers are popped up on different heights of pop-up dots.
Thanks for looking!

January 2010 CSS Blog Hop
Woo Hoo! This is my first Center Stage Spotlight blog hop! I feel so very honored to be amongst all the CSS alumni from Gina K Designs! Below, you will find all the blogs that have cards and projects to show you. They are based on the inspiration picture with the mitten and snowmen cookie bouquet.
My first card was inspired by the layout of the cookie bouquet. I probably should have colored the kitty a different color. But I adore kittens, so I think it will be OK if she stands out. LOL!
My 2nd card uses the snowmen in the cookie bouquet and I used slightly different colors. Surprisingly, I only used one set!
And my 3rd card goes crazy again with lots of stamp sets. Originally, this was to be a CAS card, but it kept growing! LOL! This card was inspired by those yummy cookies filled with sugar! Yum! I love sugar cookies with frosting!
We have a lot of bloggers this evening!
Each artist was asked to design their project by drawing inspiration from these photos of the AMAZING Christmas Cookie Bouquet the CSS Team sent to Gina's DT Coordinator Jessica Fick:

Snowmen will melt your heart!
I adore these snow people!
In the meadow we can build a snowman... even if it has eyelashes ;)
Stamps (All DRS Designs): snowlady (L163), Interlocking Snowflake background (H015), greeting (F229)
Paper: white, black, bashful blue, green galore
Ink: black, bashful blue, Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon, Martha Stewart snowflake punch
Do you remember, as a child, doing those worksheet puzzles where you had to find what was wrong with the picture? Well, I had this photo all cropped and ready to go when I noticed the "something wrong". I was going to retake the photo and then thought to use my time elsewhere... now you can solve a puzzle. LOL! What is wrong with this picture?
Stamps (All DRS Designs): Cowboy/Rancher Snowman (L178), Paisley background (K182), greeting (D289)
Paper: white, ruby red
Ink: Palette burnt umber, ruby red, bashful blue, Copic markers
Accessories: buttons w/ thread, hemp, handmade cloud template (for sponging clouds)

3 Challenge Cards for You
SCS Featured Stamper Challenge: WeeBeeStampin
I chose to CASE one of her color challenge cards. I used slightly different shades and a similar layout on an A2 card rather than a square card. I moved the ribbon and flower embellishment and added a sentiment. Here is Wendy's gorgeous card.
Stamps: Unity's December KOM & the leaves are from the cherries in the set Mix Up of Cuteness
Colors: pumpkin pie, apricot appeal, wild wasabi, garden green, & white
Accessories:ribbon, buttons & thread, Martha Stewart lace edge punch, dimensionals
Christian Paper Crafts' Color Monday Challenge: light blue, any shade of brown & white
Chilly Winter Scene
Stamps: DRS Designs
The winter scene is a new stamp. The greeting will be retiring at the end of the month.
Colors: bashful blue, chocolate chip
Accessories: organdy ribbon, SU ticket corner punch, brads, sponge & handmade cloud template
This is a double challenge card.
Christian Paper Crafts' Color Monday Challenge: light blue, any shade of brown & white
SCS Clean & Simple Challenge: Cut it out!
Fall in Chocolate

What a week! And more events coming...
Gosh, I feel like I've been slacking on my routine blogging. I've hardly had time to cruise galleries and play in challenges. Life should get back to a normal routine soon... I hope! Thankfully, I've had exciting design team work to do lately... stamping is my therapy after all!! Besides being absent from faves, and challenges, the return to work after 2 weeks off was exhausting... which is normal. But the past week at work has been full of tears... the good kind and the sad kind. So then I was exhausted x2. And my son had a really, really rough week returning to school. He has CP and high-functioning autism. I won't even start to explain how life at home has been! So then I was exhausted x3! I even fell asleep during the GKD release party! Who does that??? And.... Guess what else didn't get done??? I didn't get any stamps in the mail from SCS sales.... and I am very, very, very sorry. If you are a customer reading this, I have received your payment. I am NOT scamming you. Your stamps are coming!!! Promise!
I do have some cards coming tonight. One for the FS challenge, one for the CPC color challenge, and one that is for both the CPC color challenge and SCS CAS challenge. I will be back on Wednesday with a DRS blog posting in the morning and the GKD Center Stage Spotlight Blog Hop at 10PM CST. It will be a lot of fun!
