Yes, I'm very behind. I have seen many beautiful cards, but I have to admit that I haven't been able to comment on all of them. It's very unusual for me to favorite a card and not comment. So, this feels weird. But I still want to mention them and hopefully get back later to comment.

Meet Chloe

She's sleeping! Does that look comfortable to you???

Meet the newest addition to our family :) She's 14 weeks old and weighs 4 pounds.I thought it was too soon for another cat, but I was out-numbered. Soooo, I said I could pick the cat. What I wanted: kitten, female, Tabby (very different from Rockie). We went to the wrong pet store and saw animals from a shelter we hadn't planned to see. And there was ONE kitten. Here she is! I fell in love with her as soon as I held her. She looks similar to Rockie, but she has more white markings. And when it comes to personality, she is totally DIFFERENT from Rockie. She lets anyone hold her. She is VERY playful. She has the usual shelter respiratory infection. But she's doing fine.

But Princess is NOT fine. She is ****** off! We adopted her on Saturday and just this afternoon Princess started to play with her. Poor Chloe has needed a playmate. She has TOO much energy! But when she sleeps, she really sleeps!

Talk about playful.... she LOVES my computer. She loves walking on the keyboard and she wants to catch the arrow on the screen. She so smart that she's figured out the mouse will move the arrow. Seriously! I can be on the computer peacefully only when she is sleeping. But now that the two felines are getting used to each other, I'm hoping my computer time increases. So, don't give up on me. I'm coming back!

More Strawberries!

Does anyone remember the strawberry shortcake doll? Or does that show my age?

I'm such a goofball! This was supposed to be for the limited supply challenge on SCS, today. I was so focused on how I was going to repeat 3 cropped images that I forgot the embellishment rule.

Hip Hopping in the Unity Forum on SCS

Yesterday was Thursday! That means it was time to Hip Hop in the Unity forum! This card was made for the black & white background challenge. I used a pencil eraser to create the background.

I love my new Martha Stewart punch!

My DH is so sweet! I've been developing a new routine since dealing with his new physical disability that finally has a name and prognosis. He thought I deserved something new and he bought me this new Martha Stewart ice cream punch. Isn't this the cutest punch you've ever seen?! I love it!

The color challenge included tempting turquoise, apricot appeal, creamy caramel, & baja breeze. We could use just 3 colors and use bashful blue instead of baja breeze. (I also slipped in some close to cocoa which was on the reverse side of the creamy caramel. What's ice cream if you can't enjoy some chocolate?!)

I'm Lovin' the New Bermuda Bay!

My demo gave me samples of the new In-Colors CS and ribbon. I thought I could live without the ribbon for now. After all, I haven't used the In-Color ribbons much in the past. Well, I think this year is going to be different! I have melon mambo on the way, but some of the others NEED to be on my next order!

He is my miracle baby. A true gift from God. He was born 16 weeks prematurely and weighed only 1 pound and 4 ounces!

Happy Independence Day!

My extended family won't be having any barbecues in town. They live either out of state or they are camping. My family won't be going to any parades, today. We would like to spend it at home doing the hobbies we enjoy. It seems like summer is just starting out because of all the heartache we've had with our cat passing and learning to live with DH's newly diagnosed physical disability. Instead, we need to relax and enjoy what freedom we have in this great country of ours. For me, that means spending time making cards for the troops. I'll be participating in SCS Wish RAK challenges. They actually started yesterday, but I'll be playing catch-up. I love making cards and our troops deserve to be honored!

Pet Sympathy

My family and I are still having a difficult time healing from the loss of one of our cats. I decided to donate some sympathy cards to the vet clinic. This is my first design.

I LOVE ICE CREAM!

I own a lot of Unity stamps, but this adorable ice cream image was received through Wish RAK. I love ice cream! I'm so sad that I'm having trouble eating it this summer. It's just not summer without ice cream. But... my gall bladder doesn't understand this! My doctor says that's part of being fluffy, fertile, and forty. Nice!

Anyway, I'm treasuring the moment of Unity's Hip Hop Thursday. I won a stamp set yesterday for one of my challenge cards posted here. I won the set Folk Inspired! It's been on my wish list! I'm so excited! Thanks Jeanne and Unity!

I couldn't think of an idea for today's color challenge, but I did remember a card I made a couple of summers ago that had 2 of the 3 colors, saffron and night of navy.
