Sisterhood Sundays

This week's Stampin' Sisterhood Challenge is an inspiration photo!
You can find the directions for submitting a card and learn about the prizes

I used the bright blue and the Christmas bulbs for my inspiration.
Instead of bulbs, I used blueberries!
I rarely work with bright blue, but when I do, I love it!

Sisterhood Sundays

This week's Stampin' Sisterhood Challenge is a sketch!
You can find the directions for submitting a card and learn about the prizes
on the Stampin' Sisterhood blog!

I replaced the circle with a Spellbinders die cut and moved the sentiment.
The flower is popped up with a dimensional. I thought it needed more dimension near the top of the card to balance the bow and pearls. The recipe is below.

Please let me know what you think :)

Recipe:

Rubbernecker Stamps: flourish (530_15). Thank you (25_22)
Paper: SU whisper white, cherry cobbler & lucky limeade
Ink: SU cherry cobbler & lucky limeade
Tools: Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder,
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 17 die cut

Accessories: pearls, SU lucky limeade ribbon, dimensionals

Fabulous CAS Favorites

Here are some fabulous CAS cards I found in the SCS Gallery!

I thought it would be fun to add something new this season. In preparation for the new DT search coming this Friday evening @ 8:00 PM (EST), I decided to link a few of my favorite cards from the gallery. There's no chronological order to these cards, just cards I really like. HINT: They may also give you a hint for the styles I'm looking to find for next season.

****************************************

Instead of making a card today, I made a scrapbook page. I am way behind in my scrapbooking! Since it's so difficult for me to capture detail on a 12x12 page, I have included close-up shots, too.
