I'm still here! Just in the Ho, Ho, Ho Spirit!

I was busy with getting ready for Christmas making last minute gifts and visiting relatives. We still have 2 Christmas parties to go to! WoW! Here are some scrapbook pages that went into my parents album this Christmas. My New Year's Resolution is to get caught up in my scrapbooking. So, I'm going to try and show pages at least once a week.

CEDAR POINT - Sandusky, Ohio

My son's first time on a roller coaster was hilarious. He had the BIGGEST grin on his face getting off of the ride. I wish I could get him to smile like that in every day photos. LOL!

My son's birthday is in the middle of the SUMMER! I won't let him wear his sweats to summer camp, but his birthday was different. He had all of his favorite things: sweats, TV, video games, pizza, and ice cream cake!

Gifts, Gifts, and more Gifts

I've been busy making gifts the last few days. This first set was made for the SCS color challenge today.

This is a gift set for my FIL's girlfriend. There is a gift bag, large & small post-it note holders, and an RSVP pen. She LOVES my cards, so I'll give her a new batch, but I wanted more to give her this year. I think I'll make some bookmarks, too, since she likes to read.

Stamps: All Through the Year, Petal Prints, (I can't remember the sentiment set, but it is SU
Color Challenge colors: basic gray, kiwi kiss, baja breeze, not quite navy
Accessories: ribbon, brad, DSP, wide oval punch

This is a set that I made for my mom and my MIL. Each will get 2 gift bags, a perpetual birthday calendar, and birthday cards. Each mom also has another small gift.

These are pocket post-it note holders. They are great for purses. I don't know about other people, but I never have a piece of paper to write on when I need it! These were made for:

teachers
paraprofessionals
bus drivers & aides
doctors & secretaries

This is part of a gift that is a mismatch of items for my friend who won the election last month and her 2 girls. There are altered notebooks, bookmarks, post-it note holders and pens.

The Christmas Spirit

I've been very busy making gifts this year since I have more time and the economy is the way it is right now.

The cats are getting in the holiday spirit... OK... not really. They didn't know what to do. They were paralyzed!!! I think they have recovered though. This first picture is of Princess... out little gifted & hyper active cat.

The 2nd two pictures are of Rockie and a singing snowman. We have all kinds of singing Christmas characters. Just like with Halloween, my DH buys a new one every year. LOL!

Here they are again. Rockie is our very fat and cognitively impaired cat... seriously. Life wouldn't be the same without him. The 2 cats together are quite a pair!

Secret Santa

Last Saturday, we had a reveal party on the PIF chat thread. It was so much fun! My secret santa was Hotwheles! Linda really spoiled me! You can right click on the photo to a get bigger view.

The Unknown Snowman - MYSTERY SOLVED!

Do you know who this cutie belongs too? I've searched every internet store and stamp site... and even eBay. I don't know who he is!!! He must be suffering from Amnesia because he can't tell me either. LOL!

Updated: This image is from Sunshine Designs - The Stamp Barn. Thanks leibetty!

I tried another Kittie bow. I've discovered that it's harder working with a stiffer grosgrain with a width of 3/8". This is a double bow. I actually did get the triple bow to work, but it was way too overwhelming on this card.

Challenge: SC205

I've received many nice and cute comments today on SCS about this card. But 2 people just cracked me up! They said they know some people who should get this card. I hadn't thought of that. I just think it's cute. I'm an owner of 2 cats. I know, they own me. But the gray one is always getting into mischief. So this image reminds me of her, Princess. I have some scrapbook pages of her on my blog. It can be found on the side bar in categories: scrapbook.

New Verve set and a Mojo Monday Sketch

I used 2 techniques on the snowman: paper piecing and paper tole. The middle and top are popped up on dimensionals and the hat is popped up twice on dimensionals.

POOR GRANDMA!!!

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinking too much egg nog,
And we begged her not to go.
But she'd left her medication,
So she stumbled out the door into the snow.

When they found her Christmas mornin',
At the scene of the attack.
There were hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
