This is who I've been sharing my computer time with.!

Dear Chloe has made a home here very quickly. She is so lovable. And she loves my computer. She can often be seen sleeping on me while I cruise the gallery. Sometimes she thinks she needs to help. Wouldn't I want her to catch that arrow? ! LOL! Yesterday, I walked in the room and found her cleaning herself on my keyboard! I almost shooed her off, but then I quickly decided to grab my camera which was near-by. I love this photo when she discovers she was caught! LOL!

Another Blast from the Past

Here's one more old card. I made this a couple of years ago using one of Beate's sketches. This card measures 4.25 square. I use 4.5 A Muse envelopes.

A Muse stamps: sandcastle, sentiment
Stampin' Up stamps: On the Beach, Sandy shells wheel, Itty Bitty BGs
Paper: creamy caramel, real red, close to cocoa, white
Ink: black, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, chocolate chip
Accessories: CM custom cutting system, WW crayons, eyelets, ribbon, sponge

Blast from the Past - Unfrogettable

Here's a card that I made a couple of summers ago. I cased a card from the SU catty. I just can't remember which one.

Stamps: Unfrogettable (SU), Warmest Regards (SU), background (I think it's TAC)
Paper: close to cocoa, ruby red, mellow moss, white
Ink: close to cocoa, chocolate chip, ruby red
Accessories: water wonder crayons, paper piercer & mat stack, CM custom cutting system
Techniques: faux stitching

SCS Sketch Challenge

I hadn't planned on making this a "thank you" card, but I liked the font. Silly, I know. Maybe it can be an extra special thank you like to a bridesmaid or to a friend who helped you pack & move.... "big stuff".

Stamps: Live Your Dream, Much Appreciated
Paper: white, rich razzleberry
Ink: rich razzleberry, garden green
Accessories: ribbon, MS lace edge punch, paper piercer, SU markers, pop-up dots

FAVORITES: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday

Yes, I'm very behind. I have seen many beautiful cards, but I have to admit that I haven't been able to comment on all of them. It's very unusual for me to favorite a card and not comment. So, this feels weird. But I still want to mention them and hopefully get back later to comment.

Some of these ladies uploaded more than one card or project. If you have time, check out their galleries for more inspiration!

Meet Chloe

She's sleeping! Does that look comfortable to you???

Meet the newest addition to our family :) She's 14 weeks old and weighs 4 pounds.I thought it was too soon for another cat, but I was out-numbered. Soooo, I said I could pick the cat. What I wanted: kitten, female, Tabby (very different from Rockie). We went to the wrong pet store and saw animals from a shelter we hadn't planned to see. And there was ONE kitten. Here she is! I fell in love with her as soon as I held her. She looks similar to Rockie, but she has more white markings. And when it comes to personality, she is totally DIFFERENT from Rockie. She lets anyone hold her. She is VERY playful. She has the usual shelter respiratory infection. But she's doing fine.

But Princess is NOT fine. She is ****** off! We adopted her on Saturday and just this afternoon Princess started to play with her. Poor Chloe has needed a playmate. She has TOO much energy! But when she sleeps, she really sleeps!

Talk about playful.... she LOVES my computer. She loves walking on the keyboard and she wants to catch the arrow on the screen. She so smart that she's figured out the mouse will move the arrow. Seriously! I can be on the computer peacefully only when she is sleeping. But now that the two felines are getting used to each other, I'm hoping my computer time increases. So, don't give up on me. I'm coming back!
