Magenta Blog Hop

Christian Paper Crafts is having a Magenta Blog Hop! I've never used peel-offs on cards until now. I LOVE THEM!

I adhered the stained glass window peel-off onto some retired SU dsp. It's a light pink pirouette with white dots. Then I highlighted some areas using a ruby red marker. My big eyelets were the perfect size for the pattern so I used some very vanilla taffeta ribbon. And lastly, I used rhinestone stickers for the centers of the flowers.

I love that very simple stained glass effect! Who says you have to colour in the WHOLE sticker to make it look good?

That's beautiful, Jen. Love how you've added the eyelets to embellish, too!

Don't know if I'm commenting in the right place, but I'll commnet anyway. You know me! Your card is totally beautiful! I am AMAZED you made it with peel-offs. It looks so professional, and we don't usually think of stickers like that. These Magenta stickers look so ARTISTIC! I keep saying that, I know, but its true. You did a fabulous job with them. Like how you colored in part of them. It all turned out great! Thanks for sharing!

peel offs are huge in Scotland...Almost every card or scrapbook page I saw at a craft fair had them. Very diferent look than stamping or embossing but they grow on you after awhile...I picked up some gold and silver christmas and birthday. Then with my gardening sister in mind with an April birthday, I picked some that are gold & garden themed. It is a stretch to use something so heavy on a spring card. I am trying
