CSS Alumni Blog Hop

Gina K. Designs ~ StampTV
Center Stage Spotlight Alumni Blog Hop

I'm so excited to be part of the CSS Alumni blog hop! I'm using the set illustrated by Theresa Momber that I can't seem to put away. It just stays on my craft table. LOL! For this hop, the alumni CSS team was given a color challenge: kraft or tan leather, and gkd green, & white.

If you arrived here from Giovanna's blog, you're in the right place! If not, you'll want to go back to StampTV so you won't miss a thing! :)

My new craft room is not put together yet and I had to search the basement for old crayons so I could have white petals on the kraft cardstock. Phew! I found one. This is a Rose Art crayon, not my favorite. Nothing can beat the quality of Crayola and the smell is just awesome. Am I the only one who thinks that? LOL!

Recipe
GKD stamp set: Hope Grows
(Illustrator - Theresa Momber)
GKD cardstock: kraft & grass green
Accessories: ribbon from a GKD kit, GKD buttons,
hemp, pop-up dots, and a white crayon
Ink: SU garden green & close to cocoa

And just a few hours ago, I received my newest GKD order with the new release, Seeds of Kindness, by Gina. I am in love with this set already! This card was so easy and super fast... could hardly believe it! First I colored the image using Copic markers: YG67 moss, G24, willow, & E43 dull ivory. With the exception of the base card and main image, everything else was made with scraps on my craft table. See.... sometimes leaving a mess is a good thing. LOL! (~insert cheesy, guilty grin here~)

Recipe
GKD stamp set: Seeds of Kindness
GKD cardstock: kraft & grass green
Accessories: SU large oval, circle, & designer label punches,
Martha Stewart zig-zag edge punch, SU kraft taffeta ribbon,
Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder

Next up on the blog hop is the talented Jennie Harper!

Beautiful cards Jen. I love the white flowers. I may have to pull out my crayons to make a card. :o) You are not the only one who loves the smell of Crayola. It is my favorite smell in the whole world. And the funny thing is that my car smells like a Crayola crayon inside. So weird yet so cool! :o)
