October 19 - The Happy Side

This date is a significant one for me. It represents the gift of life. My first son was a micro preemie and spent 15 weeks in NICU. He finally came home on Oct. 19, 1995, weighing just 3 pounds 12.5 ounces. We celebrate every year. We call it his Homecoming Day! We are so blessed to have him in our lives.

My son LOVES robots. He politely says he likes all of my cards when he sees them, but this one was "cool"! He's so cute!

Stamps: Rocket man - Technique Tuesday, Family Phrases - SU
Paper: pacific blue, certainly celery, basic black, white
Ink: black
Accessories: Copic & SU markers, circle punches, paper piercer & mat stack

Wow.....what a date for you. Both ends of the spectrum of emotions. I'm glad the the HAPPY happened for you after your "sad". Makes the day have a special glow of rememberence and of moving on (ok...the words aren't coming out how I mean them in my heart....sigh...)
