CAS / Color Challenge Samples

Today's Color Monday Challenge is a fun one and a bit unusual. :P

Choose any combination these colors or be brave and us them all!
blue, pink, orange, & yellow plus neutrals

(All of these cards are double challenge cards. They were made to match the CAS challenge on SCS.)

I've made three cards for this challenge since it has so many possibilities:

a card with 2 colors, a card with 3 colors, and a card with ALL 4 colors! Woo Hoo! I did it! LOL!



Birthday Wishes
I chose to use blue and pink for this cute little monkey holding onto a piece of ribbon so he won't fly away.
Stamps: monkey – CC Designs, sentiment – Unity
Card Stock: white
Designer Paper: Stamping' Up
Ink: black, Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon
Technique: CAS (Clean & Simple)
Size: 4.25 square (A Muse 4.5 envelopes)



The Bird with the Story
This cute one is telling the story of 3 colors: blue, orange, & yellow.
Stamps: bird (Unity's Feb. 2010 KOM), sentiment (Ippity/Unity – Love in Return)
Cardstock: white, so saffron
Designer Paper: Stampin' Up
Ink: Palette burnt umber, Copic markers
Accessories: corner rounder, Spellbinders Nestabilities dies, pop-up dots, white gel pen
Technique: CAS (Clean & Simple)
Size: standard A2

Hi Jen~

I love when you make "playful" cards. I remember the first card I saw of yours. It was a CAS card. It was 3 mushrooms--3 different colors on squares, I think...in a row across the card front. I was so impressed! And, it gave me the confidence to try to make a CAS card, too.

I LOVE the card with the bird with the story. I'm sure you know that I would want him to tell the story of the world's best selling book. The Bible!

The balloon is just wonderful. And, the monkey hanging on to the ribbon for dear life is just great! You are so great at making images look unique. That is a compliment. I have never even thought to color a hot air balloon in colors besides brights. It gives such a different look, and new life to the stamps! WTG!
